The journey for Cloud Covered Streets Ft. Worth began in October 2020. Shortly after the Phoenix trailer started showering the streets with love, Margaret Smith saw the work they were doing, and knew it was a resource that would benefit our neighbors in Ft. Worth. So her, Gina Barton and Sarah Daniel went to volunteer with the trailer, and after the first day started the talks with Robert Thornton about bringing a trailer to Texas.

A year later, we had raised the funds to buy and customize our 28' trailer, and by January 2022 we were out three days each week in Ft. Worth. On average, we see 365 guests each month, and are able to give over 300 showers, wash 165 loads of laundry and provide 60 haircuts. We’d like to give a special thanks to Texas country musician Courtney Patton, who brought awareness about Cloud Covered Streets after volunteering with the trailer in Phoenix. Without her, the Ft. Worth's team possibly wouldn’t have learned about CCS and taken the leap to form the trailer operations in Texas.
