This hilarious gentleman is named Hal and when we gave him a new shirt he immediately put on our shirt. Asked Hal if we could take a picture and he said “Let me get in my best pose” 😂 Hal was such a great guy and was truly a pleasure being able to meet him today. We look forward to launching our shower/laundry trailer and having our volunteers get to meet people like Hal. Hal breaks all the stereotypes on what the homeless are like. Hal’s shoes were falling apart but we didn’t have any size 14’s in our truck but told him we would be back in his area next Tuesday and we cannot wait to give Hal a new pair of shoes. Thank you all so much for following our nonprofit and believing in our mission to help those on the streets. Have a beautiful day and please stay safe.
I cannot thank you enough for the post. Really thank you! Want more. Lorene Dall Tiebold
I saw a piece on the news earlier this week about Cloud Covered Streets. My soul said “help them” and my circumstances allow. Made my first donation today on Christmas eve! And is matched by my employer! Keep up the admirable work! I look forward to volunteering in the future. The world needs you. Love and Peace.
This is a topic close to my heart cheers, where are your contact details though? Vivianna Roscoe Ehrlich
These stories are bringing tears of joy and such happiness to my heart and soul. I have always wanted to be involved in something like this and am still unable to. One day, when I am retired, I hopefully will. I work to jobs to keep myself from being homeless but I promise, one day God will put me in a position of being able to help. God bless you Chad, your volunteers, and the ones out there just needing a hand up!
