Greg’s smile tells you how happy he was when he opened the box and saw a new pair of Nike’s ! When Greg first came over he was not talking and just nodding. I noticed his shoes looked rough and asked him what size he wore. After opening the box, Greg was smiling and talking a mile a minute. It is so amazing seeing how much a pair of shoes can change a persons perspective. Thank you so much to everyone following our page, leaving comments, and donating to our nonprofit. This is Blake and was so great meeting this amazing soul. Blake recently had major surgery on his left leg and foot. He told me the doctors wanted to amputate but he wanted surgery instead. Showed me the massive scar on his upper thigh. He was so grateful and had a great time talking with him. When his foot heals up we will have a new pair of size 14’s shoes for him. The first time we met Richard he was very shy but also very kind and complimented our Vice President Brie. The second time we met Richard his friends called him “Legend” and when we gave him new socks he showed us how his size 17 shoes were completely busted up. We posted a picture and within minutes one of our followers on social media messaged us that she ordered a pair of size 17 Nike’s and they were on the way. Richard’s eyes lit up when we handed him his new pair of shoes. If you live in Phoenix you can sometimes see him by the 10 Freeway offramp at 7th st. Please say hi to him if you see him.

We met Peter as he was writing poetry in the park. He spends most of his days writing and his goal is to eventually have his work get published.

Clarance was an interesting character. He told us he was an Intergalactic Minister. Clarance was very kind and blessed us for the new shirt, new pair of socks and toiletry supplies we gave him.
